Hi, Just noticed when downloading graph data that I assume the 'GMT' setting in the account profile area does not take into account BST - so the CSV data is all an hour out? Is that correct?
Thanks
Daniel

danielrc15 I think the data logged by the inverter to the cloud will be UTC (AKA Zulu), which is the same as GMT. The time displayed in the portal is whatever the timezone/seasonal adjustment adjusts it to. Similarly, the data downloaded from the portal will be for the current day (again taking timezone/seasonal adjustments into account). To answer your question, the time is BST in the portal and csv, not GMT.
You can download data using the API, specifying the time period you are interested in. You can specify the time to be whichever timezone/seasonal adjustment you are interested in. However, most people who do download for manipulation, work with raw data in UTC and then adjust for whichever timezone is relevant.
You can set BST in the user profile settings.

Not any more.
In the Account Settings on the Givenergy Cloud you can set GMT +-1,2,3 etc so that data syncs to your country time. This is how I resolved my 1 hour difference.
Is there also a way to make the date format (locale) correct as in DD-MM-YYYY rather than the annoying ISO ones?
anthonypar You can set the timezone to anything you want but if you want the system to change the displayed time with the clocks shifting back and forth, you need to set your correct timezone. Not all countries observe daylight saving hours and those that do don't necessarily shift on the same date.
