Hi everyone,

Does anyone know whether it's possible to set a different maximum charge power for solar and grid charging. I'm using a GIV-AC3.0 and I've just moved to the Intelligent Octopus time of use tariff, which has a 6 hour overnight off-peak rate, so I thought it might be a good idea to charge slower during this period. Trouble is, when I throttle back the charge power it also seems to cap the charge speed on solar. Here in Scotland in September we've got to make the most of every drop, so it would be great if there were separate settings.

Has anyone spotted a way to do this that I might have missed?

Thanks,

Gareth

garethhann Sounds like you're using the app rather than the portal but I think the only way to achieve what you want is to either set an alarm to change the settings manually each day, or to automate it with Home Assistant or similar to change the battery charge rate at the same times each day.
