Am finding I'm wasting a fair bit of money by charging my battery to 100% overnight at cheap rate as there's more than enough solar to do this during the day.
I went to inverter settings and set the max charge to 75% and hit submit.
All fine, but when I looked in the morning, it had charged the battery to 100% and this setting had reset itself to 100%.
Tried again last night and the same thing happened.
Any ideas on how I can set this so it actually works?
Did it show a green banner saying successful once you'd adjusted the slider and clicked save?
Have you got any tariff automations on e.g. octopus automation?
Have a look at the dashboard, see if there's a "smart tariff" card there, and if so, expand it with the four arrows button and check the automation tab (the last tab).
Yes it did show this notification.
Ah good shout re the automation - does this not follow the charge limit then? (ie it'll just override the capacity setting?).
I've turned off, so should that fix it...?
alphabeta77 hopefully yeah. Change the limit again, save, and then perhaps check back in a few hours. 🤞🏾
(And check it’s still set to do a timed charge!)
