When the batteries are at low SOC 4-11%, can they only accept charge at lower rates (even if more is available) till the cells warm to optimum temperatures? (Then the charge rate ramps up?), or can they accept 3.0kw from the get go?

Can't say I have noticed any reduction in charge rate on mine with lower temperatures. If the solar energy is there, they charge at max rate from the start.

Smk82 Don't know the answer any different from @wilfleek other than most intelligent battery charging systems start slow for a short period and then ramp up to whatever is available. When approaching 100%, I'd expect it to back off to less than full charge rate.

Apologies - I should have stated that there is the normal ramp up from start and then down when close to 100% SOC.
