Mega discrapency between Givenergy and Energy Supplier

Hi, am I the only one who don't understand it.. starting to loose trust to what Givenergy shows...

Seems like givenergy shows me pretty pictures but actually I do take from the grid :/

I think you will find that the Givenergy graph doesn't include Grid to Battery. Do you charge the battery from the Grid?

joolek as hhall says, grid to battery isn't included in consumption figures as it would then double count your consumption as you discharge battery to home.

You’re looking at Home Consumption. Change that to just show Grid In.

Hi joolek . To be sure have a look at changing your selection of what you're looking at on your GivEnergy screenshot to 'Grid In' rather than 'Home' at the top right. This will show you where the grid useage is going within your setup whether that's to your home or to your battery. Hope that helps.

joolek To add to the other comments which will hopefully get you sorted, I find that the Givenergy Portal is useful for comparing one period with another but when it comes to budgeting for energy bills, always go with the smart meter values. Whether they're right or wrong, it's what you have to pay your supplier for.

The givenergy graph is only showing 7 days whereas the graph from your supplier is for 21 days. Set the givenergy graph to monthly and let's see what the discrepancy is then.

I too have noticed a discrepancy between what GivEnergy reports compared to what i draw from the grid.
I would prefer it if they matched the suppliers meter reading (last month 31kw on my supply meter, 20kw reported by GivEnergy Grid In figures), but at the end of the day, its only a report and i'm still drawing a lot less energy from the grid than what i was previously.
