I have a 9.5kw battery and 5kw hybrid inverter and the system is set to charge overnight from 00.10 to 06.55 - allows for a very slight lag in the cheap rate tariff.

But the last couple of mornings the battery has not taken up the slack of the grid import even after 10 mins or so. Does anyone else find a large gap between grid charging and then dropping back to supplying power to the home?

I should add that the system behaves as expected the rest of the time and a restart of the inverter solves the issue.
