I just set a timed charge, and now its reached the amount we wanted, we switched off the charge and reset Eco node, but the battery is remaining at idle, and were still drawing from the grid.
How do we get the battery to supply the power and not the grid?
Its an 8.2 kwh battery and a gen 1 5.6kw inverter..install was July and this is the first time we tried a timed charge.

If you are on an off peak rate it makes sense to continue to draw from the grid until that off peak rate ends.
Otherwise you’d be using “expensive” power (the AC-DC-AC conversion losses) during a cheap grid rate.
Plus your battery wouldn’t have as much charge in it for use when on an expensive grid rate.
Thus if you set the timed charge to end at say 4am, the battery will be idle until then.
Hope that makes sense re how timed charge is designed.

Set ECO and leave it alone. The timed charge is overlaid on top of the ECO so when the timed charge period ends, ECO takes over.
I think there is time delay of a few minutes on what the app tells you whats happening and what actually is. So if you use a kettle it may not show while using it, but may then show something like 3kW been used later when nothing is on! Its quite disconcerting at first, but you soon stop app watching and then you can stop worrying about it. Just let it do its thing. The bills every month speak for themselves.
