Load Increasing when Generating

I’ve just had an 3kW inverter and 8.2kWh battery retrofitted to an existing 10.2kW solar pV array.
Everything appears to be working as it should with one exception; when the panels are generating, according to the monitoring data the consumption/draw/load of the property increases despite no additional appliances being switched on. The shape of the consumption power curve is remarkably similar to that of the generation power curve although a little lower. When the battery is charging from generation, this nuance doesn’t occur, but as soon as the battery stops charging or the generation goes above 3kW, the nuance occurs. The installers maintain that the CT clamps are in the right places and are the correct way around.

Any ideas folks?

combr06 Must be a CT clamp issue?

combr06 you should be able to open the CT clamp and there will be an arrow inside. I can't remember which way it should face but try turning it round. You shouldn't break anything
