Hello @Adam-Reynolds Can you check your email please and help me out with an issue with my batteries. I've emailed you and customer support, but I've had no reply, so maybe you will see my message here.
Thanks,
Glen.

Glen Not sure the Givenergy staff respond in the forum much (their tin hats are in short supply); it's more for their customers to share experience and support. If you want a response from Givenergy, a call to their service line will get answered and you will get some resolution. In the meantime, if you want to post some details of your plant/equipment and the problem, it's likely that another forum member will also have experienced the same issue and may be able to offer some suggestions.
Tim Thanks Tim.
I didn't hold out much hope, but I thought it was worth a chance. I'll try the phone again, but a very long wait on hold the other day with no answer put me off.
I'll also take your advice on the support of other forum members. Is there a particular thread that you would recommend, or would you suggest I just start a new one?

Glen, have you checked that the DC isolator hasn't been thrown?
The problem you might have now is that since its been over a month, any charge they had left has probably dissapated and so it will need a poke from their end to wake it up properly. I don;t think there is any way for us to force the same thing from our end.

I think this may be the same issue.
Very disappointed by lack of response from GE support people or warranty teams
dbt85 Thank you very much for the suggestion. I'll get to check it at the weekend, so it's no batteries for me until next week at the earliest by the looks of things.
Tim Adams Thanks Tim, I'll check that thread out and hopefully I'll find a solution.
Update:
I got through to @Adam-Reynolds on the phone. He was very helpful and told me that the issue requires a site visit.
Fingers crossed it's a straightforward enough issue when they come. Thank you for the input @dbt85 and @Tim
would be interested to hear when they book the visit!
i still await a date even though originally reported 29th Aug! and finally confirmed site visit needed 5th Oct.
disappointed with support
Tim Adams
Well, Tim. I was delighted when I got Adam and I was given a date of 18th November. The day came, but nobody turned up. A call to the office confirmed that despite what I had been told, I am now on a list and when there is an engineer in my area, they will book me in.
How long is a piece of string?
Glen my repair was finally completed on 22Nov and all good. But clearly they need to ramp up number of engineers very rapidly or they may suffer reputational damage. Generally very happy with the kit.
Tim Adams That's great news Tim. I did get an update today that an engineer will be in Ireland in the coming weeks, so I have my fingers crossed.
