I was under the impression that the Quick Settings Buttons in the app could be used to force a charge/discharge "now". There are also buttons to pause and revert to normal mode. I have never used any of this until just now...
...they don't appear to work (from Android app v3.1.21.3142). When I forced a charge there was no change in pull from the grid over the period of a few minutes. Battery SoC is at 4% so it has space!
I took a look at the history in the Remote Control page of the Portal. I could see what looked like a sequence of commands from the app that should have started the charge. I also tried making some of those changes directly from the Portal. Again no sign of a forced charge. I also tried disabling ECO mode just in case that was a blocker for grid charging - no difference.
My first concern now is that there is something wrong with my installation (Gen1 3.6 Hybrid + 5.2kWh + PV) preventing charging from the grid - is that possible? Everything else seems to function correctly. But I've never used the Quick Buttons before nor have I ever tried to use settings that do timed charge/discharge/export.
Someone please put my mind at rest about my setup. Also is there a fool-proof method of doing charge/discharge now, if the app Quick Buttons don't work? Thanks in advance.
