Battery loss of power

Hi All,

My battery had been charged to 100%. I decided pause the charge/discharge to keep it at that level because the forecast is bad for the next few days. The instructions for the battery do say that if it isn't going to be used for a while it should be charged to at least 80%.

It's been paused for a couple of days with no issues. Suddenly last night the battery completely discharged in a matter of a couple of minutes. I couldn't connect to the system with the iPhone App or through the GivEnergy Portal. I had to reboot the entire system.

Any suggestions.

Ok. You have the SoC bug. When you had the battery paused at 100% it was actually only 51v which is almost dead.
Once a load was put on the battery, its voltage hit the lower cut off and the SoC was reset to 0% where it should be.
It then did a small grid charge back to 4%. Which is now correct.

Glosgas This thread has as much information as you can shake a stick at. The resolution is being tested, but has been for some time. Check out the last few posts or go back a couple of months. ALl the detail is there.
