Does anybody know what I need to do or who to contact to change the details for wifi hub to enable GivEnergy app to run?
Changing Wi-Fi hub and updating it for GivEnergy app
mjovic What is your issue? I assume its all working back to the cloud ok?
If so, for the app to work locally (It should work from the cloud regardless) the inverter (Assuming WiFi) has to be on the same network locally - so if you have the dongle on a guest network, you will only be able to see the data on the app if your phone (or tablet) is also on the guest network.
Assuming the network is the issue, you need to change the SSID that the dongle uses to connect to your home network.
Hopefully you know what the user name and password of the dongle as you will need that as well as its IP address.
It should be possible to see what that is via your router - again log in details will be required.
Don't forget the wifi needs to be on the 2.4Ghz band as they don't work on 5Ghz

This thread has lots of info about dongle connection
If you want a shortcut, set the SSID and the wifi password to be the same as the old one on the new wifi hub, the dongle will remember the connection details.
Note that in my case GE dongle won't connect at all when I have dual band 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz enabled, and my ISP, BT, doesn't let you split them with their default router.
I had to get a 2nd router from BT so I could dedicate one to 2.4Ghz and the other to 5Ghz as a slave (no DHCP enabled on 2nd one).
