Today I’ve noticed my battery has shot up from 28% to 100% in the blink of an eye. I’ve spoken to GivEnergy support who informed me that this is a known bug and they’ve been working on a fix since November 2022! Support told me that the lights on the Battery should be correct, I don’t think this is the case.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, do you have any advice?
At the moment, I’m one very disappointed new customer.
More like known bug and been working on it since November 2021..... Actually I think it might be longer. There is a massive thread about the SOC issue and another one for people who are beta testing a possible fix.
I feel lucky now ours went from 68% to 100%!

Do you know if the battery capacity lights can be relied upon?
This has happened twice since our system went live in early December. Waiting on the long-awaited firmware update!
djscott Not sure about the lights, but checking the battery data shows limited charge going in and out compared to the rated spec of the battery for a lot of people.
Same problem here. Battery went from 25% to 100% in a blink of an eye. I appear now to be exporting 2.62kw to the grid!!! GRRRRRR. Come on, GiveEnergy.
