About 10.30am today it seemed that my battery which was happily charging via solar jumped from 83% to 100% within 5 minutes. It’s stayed at 100% since then despite appearing to push energy into my home and grid. The graph seems to think that jump was pushed up by grid consumption and I’ve no idea why? From that point the excess solar was pushed into the grid, although the graph shows the reverse. Is this a reporting/app error? Or could something be wrong?

Thank you. I saw on another post after I’d posted this about trying a reset to default settings. I did that about half an hour and the battery seems to be reducing now so it’s possible sorted it. Will read through that thread though too 🙂
That looks like an SOC jump and nothing else. Once the battery has realised that it is full, the solar energy is used to power the house, with anything extra being exported (red area above the line, which looks correct to me). Under these circumstances, there would be no need for the battery to discharge, hence it stays at 100%.
If your battery had not jumped up at 10:30, exactly the same thing would have happened, just later in the day.
I assume that at some point, beyond what we can see in the graph, the battery started to discharge to the house?
ToothyChris No not exactly. There appeared to be a big jump between 10.30-10.35 which took the battery from 83-100%. The graphs seemed to indicate this was done by grid power and not solar. I monitored it throughout the day with the excess seeming to go to grid. As the solar charge decreases, the battery appeared to feed to the house but the battery % stayed at 100. It was only when I did a Reset to Default settings that the battery has started to decrease now. I’m not sure what happened. It definitely shouldn’t have acted in the way that it did but it seems the reset has sorted it now. Will keep monitoring it though. Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate your comments
