Hi all, I've only had my system commissioned for a few days and all appears to be working correctly. However, looking at my inverter via the Web Portal, the bar beneath the inverter tile is red and say error along with my inverters id number. When I expand the inverter tile, there is a red circle against my inverter number. I note there is an option to Restart The Inverter at the top right hand of the expanded window, is it worth trying this? Or should I restart the entire system via the main isolator switches?
As I said above, the system looks to be running correctly with no warning lights on the actual inverter itself. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Steve B There's no harm in doing an inverter restart using the power button on the inverter card. You can also go to the inverter card - settings and Reset to Defaults. Neither of these will cause any harm or detriment other than taking a minute or so to get the inverter back on line. If you do Reset to Defaults, it should reset to ECO mode (minimise grid import/export from PV/battery) with all timed settings disabled.

Thanks Tim... As it happens I've managed to get the Installers to come back, they're here now. They did ring GivEnergy and they confirmed an error with a monitoring meter, I'll get the proper details and enter on here in case anyone else has issues. Will report back when they've had a look. Fingers crossed.

All sorted, one of the pins in one of the connecters under the inverter wasn't connecting correctly.

Steve B Someone else reported that the Modbus connection to the EM115 was simply a push connector with no latch and that anyone catching the cable inadvertently could dislodge it. Glad you're sorted now anyway. 👍️
