The battery was charging and reached 53% SOC, when the portal suddenly reported 100% on the next (5 min) update. It's now stuck reporting 100% even though it is now also reporting as discharging.
What can I do to reset this status?
Thanks...

My battery is also reporting 100% and showing as offline on the inverter card. Somewhat annoying as I'm exporting almost a kw and don't have my export tarriff set up yet! The battery should be around 15% based on how charged it was an hour or two ago.

On the occasions when this has happened to me the battery has discharged through house load (once load exceeded generation) until it reached a true SOC of 0%. At this point it reset the displayed SOC from 100% to 0%, initiated a grid charge to bring the battery back up to the 4% minimum and things then returned to normal. I have raised a ticket for this but from their response I am not sure that GivEnergy appreciate that this appears to be a different scenario from the known drift over time of true versus reported SOC.
Woodstock Let's see what happens tonight - but suspect you're right. This was definitely not drift - huge and instant shift in the SOC displayed and used to guide behaviour afterwards - most of the subsequent solar is exported. At least we do in theory have export payments set up! Assuming Bulb remain extant and pay up...
Actually, having gone thru the whole cycle maybe it was a recalibration event - seems to have a complete transition back down to 5%. There is a big discharge event but that's linked to the long +2kW power demand (oven I think - we have a 5.2kWh battery).

I had some issues with my battery reporting odd SoC rates and huge dumps down to 0 SoC over a period of time.
Its been fine since a software update and battery recalibration although I suspect most of it was battery cal related.
It's possible the Comms to the battery could be going to sleep but again I've not had this issue since the last firmware update.
Hello @jkazer there is an explanation for this which I have posted in the thread here - https://community.givenergy.cloud/d/178-battery-reserve-level-errors/6
Thanks Adam-Reynolds the only suggestion I'd make is to provide some user feedback that an adjustment has been made, so at least we know that the "anomaly" was intentional.
Just to add to the thread, this has happened to my system today. 20% to 100% in one time slice.
Exported lots, and I haven't got my export tariff set up yet either.
Currently appears to be discharging to the house.
My record leap is from a relatively high 74% to 100% in the blink of an eye. There’s some calibration/reporting that I don’t understand.
I paused the set up at around 4pm yesterday to see what happens. The app reports that the battery has been running at 58W ever since - a theoretical discharge of 928W - but the battery percentage has remained constant through this time period.
House load and Grid consumption are perfect mirrors in the power timeline. The battery 58W is going nowhere - so as it’s a closed system maybe that 58W is just keeping the Inverter/battery running. I don’t trust these stats - in app the battery over-reports in normal usage and the numbers don’t add up.
The system has not run a recalibration recently. All I can do is watch and try to learn.
