Cannot connect to WiFi

Hi All, had my inverter installed yesterday, with a WO USB dongle.

I am pretty network literate and have tried everything to connect it to my WiFi, but it will not work.

I have a Deco X20 Mesh system. I have:

• Set my network to 2.4Ghz only (was previously both 2.4 and 5Ghz)
• Tried all encryption combinations, including WPA2-PSK AES which is what the dongle for sure should support

The only way I can get it to connect is to remove all security from my Wi-Fi completely.

This cannot be right.

Has anyone else had this issue?

And I forgot to add, I’ve tried various passwords to ensure it wasn’t special characters, length or anything like that. No luck.

turn off fast roaming and try that

camarshall32 What sort of inverter is it? Why did your installer not commission the inverter (which requires the dongle to work) before leaving? If it's a gen2 inverter, run an ethernet cable if you possibly can. If it's a gen1 inverter, you can remove the dongle from the inverter and plug it into a laptop to configure it. camarshall32 Yes. I have seen this problem and it is reproducible. Unfortunately I don't have time to investigate.
