Octopus R&D, Flux and ECO

I've just signed up to Octopus Flux. I want to charge my batteries to 100% in the cheap period 2-5am and then export down to 60% battery capacity during the peak rate 4-7pm.

I can manage the first action within the inverter settings but the Timed Export does not allow me to set a lower limit on the SOC.

I can use the R&D portal by setting import and export relative to prices. i.e. Import when cheaper than 25p and export when higher than 30p.

This turns off the ECO mode. Is there a downside in doing this?
