I would appreciate help because we changed to fibre broadband today and have a new router. My inverter has an aerial but doesn't have a WiFi dongle. How do I connect the inverter to the new router? I can find instructions for how to connect using a dongle but can't find any for dongleless inverters. How do I go about it?
in the absence of a reply from someone who actually knows for sure.
i think you have a newer generation inverter and the dongle part is inbuilt so only the aerial shows, treat it the same. use your phone to log on to the inverter wifi and configure it for the new router (or much easier change the new router ssid and password to be that which the old router had)
Or even easier, plug a LAN cable in and change the DIP switches so it knows it is LAN and you will not have to worry about wi-fi connectivity.
