Turn off export

Hi all,
Is there any way to turn off export? Or does my HY 5.0 need somewhere to divert excess PV power?

beardyblair there will always be a small handshake with the grid and in times of a sudden switch off of an appliance the inverter will take a few seconds to respond and may export, but if you're generating PV and your batteries are full, your covering your home consumption and there is excess energy it has to go somewhere. So unless you have a hot water tank/hot tub/EV or can stick the washing on or do the vacuuming, it's probably best you get an export payment set up with a supplier.

If you aren't using it and have nowhere to store it, the grid is where it's going.
