I see Gen3 inverters will be out soon - as far as I can see there are not big changes from Gen2? Is it mostly better connections?
I guess the All-in-one is going to take a lot of sales interest in future if pricing is attractive and with its whole home emergency changeover.
From my point of view with a Gen1 hybrid inverter & 3 batteries I think its unlikely to be necessary or cost effective to upgrade.
Probably the only thing I would consider a future upgrade would be the inverter if it offered:
- Higher nominal output (would help support our ASHP as well as e/v charger etc)
- Higher backup output (would make it easier to have whole home changeover without risk of exceeding limits)
I'm not sure if there is any other thread on roadmap or wishlist? but thought I would start this off to see other peoples wishlist and as means of feedback to GivEnergy
