Despite being in discharge mode why am i still drawing power from the grid when i have a 3.5kw inverter and a full battery?

There's numerous posts about discharge mode / timed discharge on this forum.
It's best to use eco mode (with timed charge if needed for overnight grid charging) unless you're using some form of custom automation (at which point you could use the automation to put the system back into ECO mode after a timed discharge period).
If you have a look via the search hopefully you'll find your answer.
Try scheduler on Octopus R&D.
You will need to register and it takes about 24hrs to get fully setup

I am already using dynamic mode
What inverter do you have, which generation too? Gen1 Gen2?
There is a bug which will be fixed in new firmware I think where it pauses. But a restart would normally sort that.
Tried reset to defaults and switch eco mode back on? (Via web portal, my inverter page, settings tab).
Checked discharge rate isn't zero? (Via web portal too, my inverter page, settings, battery options)

Latest firmware, ive tried dyanmic and scheduled mode.
Eco mode is on
Charge and discharge power are at 3600W
The discharge rate seems to improve as the power from the panels drop
Here is what seems to be happening
It seems that as long as there is ANY power being generated by the solar the maximum the battery will discharge is about 500W minus what is being generated.
As soon as the sun goes down the battery seems able to discharge at the full 3.5KW.
apc discharge at 3.5 or export at 3.5?
Sounds like it's there's a grid export limit at play?

The battery can be full, set to discharge, and it will only draw a few W from the battery and the rest from the grid instead of the battery

And now that there is nothing from the solar it discharges
