Hi all,

I've got a new(ish) system installed back in September 2022, but its not been working correctly with regards to the solar output only producing 150-300W unless I Force Charge, which then imports grid but also sends the solar up to 1.5-2kWh (see image) but will then go back to 150-300W after I stop the Force Charge.

How can I get the system to produce what its suppose too?? Any advise would be be great.
System: GIV-HY5.0, 9.5kWh Battery, and 14 panels (2 arrays) - software updated yesterday

However, I have noticed that the CT clamp is connected to a OB115 module, but my system design states that it should be EM115, has this been mixed up or will my system work with the OB115?
Also, on the app I can only set the Charge Power & Discharge Power rate to 2600W in System settings. Should this not go up to 5kWh rate as this is my Inverter size? (My son's system shows 3kWh for his 3kWh GE inverter)

Not sure. But my system has both an ON115 for the solar (Solis inverter & CT Clamp), but my GE inverter/battery is connected to EM115 with the CT clamp

Anybody know??

@TheDragon (GivEnergy) could you confirm if OB115 or EM115 would make any difference?

ron-m35 OB115 does the same as EM115 but with a solid CT. Check the inverter ECO mode (Dynamic on the app) is enabled.

Tim Hi Tim, Tried what you suggested but still has made no difference. Contacted The Dragon as it seems to be my FW is way out of date, just waiting on a reply. Thank anyway.

I think the gen-1 inverter has a max of 2600W in or out of the battery. The 5kW is the AC rating, which can be from a mix of solar and battery input. (ie you'd need at least 2400W of solar to achieve 5kW AC output).

The gen-2 inverter can do 3600W to/from the battery.
