Pure ignorance drives this question, I have had a search so apologies if I have missed a previous answer. So I have the GE 5kw hybrid inverter gen 1 with a 9.5 GE battery and excess solar sent to an Eddi, the question is as I have just signed up for a overnight tariff 5 hour (EDF) if I set the EV to charge, the Eddi to top up the water temp prior to morning showers and the GE battery to charge, will these all happen together from the grid or will it pull through the inverter and battery?

Many thanks for enlightening me in my steep learning curve.

Gust if it’s all working the cheap time period will all happen simultaneously from grid. Battery will hold charge till end of set “charging period”

That’s handy, thanks for the quick response.

Set a Timed Charge for the cheap period with the target SoC at the level that you want to exit the cheap period at.
Put the inverter in Eco mode and that will sort it all out.
