May as well empty batteries today... & fill tomorrow!
More importantly... It must end up having an impact on export rates (Fixed, Flux etc) and I suspect we will see changes to these rates before long. IMHO ... consider locking in Export Fixed rate 15p 1 year.
flux export has been reduced, approx 30p from 35p at peak.

We’re in a new weird position where we could fill and empty batteries 24/7 and generate profit.
Agile tomorrow has a good chunk under 0p
Agile is great if you can timeshift enough. But in my case with Gen1 inverter I can't fill batteries enough at cheapest rates and can't pull enough from batteries to avoid pulls from grid as well in winter.
With ASHP using weather compensation its best to run literally 24x7 in winter with 1 or 2 degree offset at night only.
so my best combination is Daily Tracker import and Fixed export 15p.
but everyone has to check own usage, timeshift, solar, batteries etc etc to decide best tariff(s). At least Octopus offer a decent range of options compared with most companies and combined with Givenergy (or other!) batteries etc it makes a huge difference.

Hook I will have empty batteries ready for midnight! will fill batteries ... and fill hot tub with hot water. Pity my ev is full already!
will see about selling back to grid but i think we have to assume a 10 or 15% round trip loss of energy? So only worthwhile if we can can fill again cheaply.

TheDragon (GivEnergy) Agile is -15p for lengthy periods. They will be paying me to fill my battery, charge my car and heat my hot-tub.
I’ve decided the easiest thing to do is to fill my battery first thing, then let solar run the house the rest of the day and export excess at 15p
