Hi, I'm having my Gen1 swapped for a Gen3 next week, I'm also having a third 8.2kW battery installed.
I've read that the battery voltages need to be similiar - any idea what percentage of battery charge I should aim to have my two existing 8.2kW batteries at before the installer arrives?

Edward as low as possible as ideally you should go through a full calibration cycle to get them in line, this way you're wasting less energy exporting to the grid
When my second battery was installed a calibration was carried out. IE both batteries discharged to the grid and both charged as the inverter just see's it as 1 massive battery. So get ready for 24.6kw grid import :-( Hopefully the sun will be out too!
Edward I had a second battery installed recently, and had the same dilemma.
In the end I left my primary battery hovering around 20% SoC, as new batteries should be shipped with about 20% SoC.
It turned out the new battery was pretty flat, but it was just within 1 volt of the primary and the commission was fine.
If I had to do it again, I'd probably have flattened my primary as @Cdent says above, as a calibration will be required anyway.
I was thinking it was either 20% or 50% full on delivery. Felt 20% but couldn't quite remember enough to say.
