Question re Gen 1 Hybrid firmware

I'm trying to understand if there is a plan for updating Gen 1 Hybrids on D450-A451 firmware.

AFAICT without trawling through every thread, there is an issue regarding differing build standards on Gen 1 Hybrids and suitability for any future firmware updates? I'm assuming its not as simple as "everything after this datecode is fine, everything before isn't suitable", its somewhat more complex than that - something like split build standard on the same rev board?

Is that about right?

Edit - its more about automation than anything else, if I know thats it for f/w then I can freeze the build on the HA Raspberry Pi and not have issues like GivTCP updating and not working on old f/w initially.

May be some testing going on somewhere but I’ve not heard it. I installed predbat in the end. Saved a lot of manual intervention.

All i know is i had the firmware youve got, i had a problem with the quick settings feature of the app. Instead of doing what it was told it just paused the battery.

GE updated it 193/191 which i believe to be a beta f/w. Sfsg
