Battery Power more than Load Power

I thought this was due to battery firmware update but looking back its always been the same.

My battery power is always 100-150W more than the load power, is there a reason for this ?

Thanks

Hi, the difference is the loss in conversion from the battery to mains power.

Ah right, so the indicated battery power is DC and not the AC supplied to the house ?

Edward

the difference is the loss in conversion from the battery to mains power.

Except, it looks like a constant value rather than a percentage? Also efficiency should be a whole load better than the 75% seen there. Mine shows a 50W difference , which I'd put down to measurement differences.

I've just checked back and until 21st May, I was getting only a 0-60W difference, then on 22nd it jumps to 100-150W

Anyone know how are they both read ? I assume the house load is via the CT Clamp near the meter, but how is the battery load read ? CT clamp or software ?

I checked with GivTCP and its the same readings, something seems wrong

See my post here. https://community.givenergy.cloud/d/2730-battery-loss-exceeds-all-loads-during-the-night
The logs are similar. Eg 140w out for a load of 30w. I was expecting self consumption <5% as in the inverter spec sheet. Not a whopping 300%. Advice on the other thread is that this is mostly the BMS. If this is true I feel like I've been missold a seriously inefficient system. Eg victron bms self consumption 16mA. Something is just not stacking up.

So after lots of emails from GivEnergy support the conclusion is that I should put a fan on the inverter to keep it cool as it should be kept at room temperature. Its in my garage and it 21 degrees in there.
Something is not right but they are not budging from the within expected losses...

First, EON install had to be redone, then EON battery firmware debacle (complaint ongoing) and then this.
