Battery stuck at 100%; grid supplying power :(

@TheDragon (GivEnergy) My Hybrid inverter+9.5 battery has just this evening 'stuck' at 100% battery and also drawing from the grid. Attempting to set Eco mode succeeds but is apparently ignored. Dashboard claims 17W discharge from battery, 558W import from grid and 557W load from house. Inverter state Idle.

Should I do anything? It's "ok" at the moment but would dislike paying day charges for power!

I tried accepting the firmware update to see if that would fix things, but the update failed (SD2245G542).

I have exactly the same problem -here are my inverrter and battery firmware versions - are yours the same by any chance?

I'm on inverter D.450 A.451, and battery 3013.

Now there's sun I can see the panels do supply Ouse load, but batteries are still not working right.

I found your discharge power was set at 0w. This will prevent meaningful battery discharge.

I have reset it for you.

Its always worth trying a ‘reset to default settings’ on the registers and/or a restart to clear issues with the inverter not working as expected

geoffreycoan Thanks - I am new to this so appreciate the help. I have a call out to GE support so will wait to see what they say first!

TheDragon (GivEnergy) Thank you. :-) 🙂

Don't know how that happened, glad it's only a glitch.

This issue happened again today as soon as the battery reached 100%. Support looked at it and have tweaked some settings which seems to have worked, and the battery is recalibrating.
