Hi All,
We run Eco7 and charge our 10kWh batteries (4 x 2.5kwh) between 01.30 and 08.30. Last night we set them to charge to 100% as forecast was poor but, when the time period kicked in, it seems that the batteries just emptied and then starting to charge again. They ended up at 100% but we lost 60% seemingly for no reason and with no export!
Pics attached, any help/suggestions gratefully received as it is way beyond my understanding
Thanks
Richard

Inverter dumping battery at start of timed charge.
Just found this too if it helps anyone? Cheers.
It might not be, but I'd have a read of this thread and see if you see the same behaviour a few times:

RichardF, if you check the 'Meter Data' tab from this view, have a look at the battery charge kWh values at the start and finish of the charging period and calculate the difference.
Is the charge energy actually used reflective of a 0 to 100% charge, or a 60/65 to 100% charge of your batteries?
It may be that the calculated %SoC had a hiccup without any energy being used/lost. There are many threads on this subject, and for most people fixes with new firmware for the inverter and batteries.
Simon_C Thanks Simon. I'll do that. Certainly the app is saying we had imported over 13 kWhs by 8.30am so that would infer a full 100% charge. I'll give it a look.
