I had a Gen 3 hybrid inverter installed on the outside of the house. Got home this evening to hear it beeping. Can anyone tell me why? Does it do this whenever it's IDLE i.e. the sun isn't shining??? If so, is there a way to silence it?
While my double glazing is ok, I'd like to be able to open my windows at night and not have to listen to this...
26Left does your app/portal suggest any problem? In my experience (gen 1 hybrids), they are all but silent if everything is OK.
Tim no notifications obvious on the dashboard. Just says it’s “Idle” (amber status dot) - I’m guessing because it’s dark so it has nothing to do…

They've sent me firmware and instructions to try and update the firmware locally using a USB stick... will report back once I have it resolved.
Went through the USB firmware process for the inverter. Now showing via the dashboard that it’s on an earlier numbered version of the firmware (was D0.393-A0.393 - now D0.305-A0.305).
During the firmware process could hear a steady tone of the inverter resetting (steady red light and tone) over the top of the pulsating beep.
Turns out it was the AIO mounted directly underneath the inverter that was beeping every other second. Push and held the round illuminated "GIV" button switch on the side of the AIO to turn it off, and the beeping finally stopped.
Turn the AIO back on and it starts beeping again.
So back on the phone with tech support re the AIO, and waiting for site visit approval.
