Random battery over voltage and SOC to 0%

Every couple of weeks or so this happens:-

Battery voltage at time of issue - 55.1v

5Kw Hybrid Gen2 - Firmware 911 and battery 9.5Kwh 3013

Any ideas as to why this occurs?

IanW I believe its the BMS protecting the battery - as soon as any load appears it should discharge and start reporting again - one reason I think was to help with more than one battery which would stop the other batteries charging when one was full - this way, the full battery disconnects and allows the others to still charge. I'm sure Paul will correct me if I'm wrong! 😆

anglefire Sounds like a good way to help multi-battery installations to fully charge and balance correctly. I just wonder if there would be a way enable the BMS to disconnect the DC from the inverter and still measure voltage/report SoC, without the user seeing the drop.

Mine has done this today too. Just installing the updates, hopefully that'll reset it all?
