I have an AIO + Gateway to install this week and having had a look over the kit (first of the AIO I'll have done) I noticed that the Gateway has-been pre fitted with RCD blocks on the breakers for the AIO and for a PV inverter (although this install is EESS only for now so no PV inverter to fit) however the RCD modules fitted are type AC. I've always understood that RCDs on inverters should be type A or B (depending on separation) due to the possibility of DC leakage blinding a type A unit. I contacted Givenergy for comment but apart from an email saying they'll pass it up the chain nothing. Have any other installers on here queried this and had a response? Or come up with a solution? I'll likely end up fitting a stand alone RCD in its own enclosure but that's hardly the most glamorous of solutions and means I'll have to foot the cost of that too as doesn't seem fair to pass on to my customer.
