inverter offline/timeout

Hi All,
when trying to set up a timed charged for battery, I'm on octopus flux so get cheaper @ 2:00-5:00, I keep getting message inverter offline or inverter timeout. am I doing something wrong?

Jones2198 where are you trying to do this, on the app, portal or through a 3rd party like home assistant/Octo R&D?

Jones2198 if it's on the app, make sure you're in home/local mode and not away mode. This sometimes happens with me and pressing it again will work. As for the portal as it's not directly connected it might take a few goes so not sure how to improve that

Jones2198 If your app is in Home mode, it will be polling the inverter every ten seconds for data which will also post that data to the Givenergy Cloud. The inverter might be too busy servicing data requests to accept commands to change the registers for timed charge etc. Maybe switch your app to Away (switch off your wifi) and try again from web portal or app?
