Apologies if this is a dumb question (new AIO owner).

I start the day at 100% charge ie 13.5kWh and after drawing 7.5kWh over the day I am down to 5% backup reserve threshold.

So where has 5kWh gone (call it 4.5kWh if you want to factor in inverter losses) ???

Until now battery regularly delivered around 10kWh daily and had charge remaining, before the 23:30 Charging began (Intelligent Octopus cheap rate period start).

Can't see how I can blame this on the installer

tomorrowman did the installer complete the calibration? It’s usually a full charge and discharge? Any EV or export set, maybe share the power graph from the cloud.

Did full calibration after firmware update. Subsequently did a calibration a few days ago when did the 608 AIO firmware update. Basically was behaving as expected for 2 weeks and then today suddenly out of charge after using 7.5kWh despite starting at 100% SoC.

My EV power is taken straight from the meter box ie before the AIO and Gateway.
Export I have non set but there is always a few watts (7 or 8) exported throughout the day (total of 160 Wh for the day) which I assumed was some sort of monitoring thing.
I'll see if it does it again tomorrow and if it does raise a support call

Do as I do in my battery calibration thread, when it goes flat start writing down how much charge/discharge the battery done day to day starting with a full charge.

This has been my data since I updated the firmware and let the battery calibrate, the charge %age has been too fast, too slow and somewhat where it should be from day to day

Before the firmware update when I had a drop in the state of charge it was only ever off by +/- 0.2kwh but that is probably due to the portal only displaying one decimal point.

Still have no idea how it took 17.1kwh though lol

Even the data can be confusing, apparently I got an extra 2.4kwh from somewhere after last nights charge and im still 8% away from full lol

So GivEnergy initiated a battery calibration and my 'empty' battery discharged another 6-7kWh to the house and grid.
Then recharged with approx 15kWh.

Unclear why the AIO decided the battery was empty when it wasn't (on recalibration it seems to use battery voltage ie if it drops to the low 280's it's empty).

Will monitor depletion and charge over next few days to see if it retains it's capacity.

Based on discharge figures today 28% usage corresponds to 3.08 kWh battery discharge i.e. 100% battery capacity is 11kWh on what's meant to be a 13.5kWh pack things are not looking particularly positive.

Anybody else having this issue ?

Yes.

GE first said it was a calibration-required issue. And now (today) are saying it was a misconfiguration of CT clamps between the AIO and Gateway, which they have sorted at their end.

We shall see ...

Percentage vs kwh seems wildly inconsistent, today for example im now back at 100% on battery (had to power cycle AIO unit as comms were lost, again) but this is what I have so far. Above thread kind of has a progression of this info as I went on.

PianSom on the basis my capacity appears to be vanishing within 1 day of the calibration I might have same issue. Let me know how you get on.

I know I have little data to go on ie 2 weeks but this all started happening after 608 firmware upgrade. I should know better but can't resist fiddling.

My install was 2 weeks ago today, and I (naively) did the 608 upgrade when I saw it. I have no idea if that's what caused the issues, or whether it is indeed a config issue. I am running down my battery tonight to see if I can trigger a step-down, as a test

Jellybaby my concern is when the recorded % remaining hits my reserve limit ie 10% it stops serving power to the house, irrespective of how accurate it is.

I'm fine with that but it should not be reaching that threshold after discharging 8kWh when it's a 13.5kWh battery.

This thing is perfectly sized to meet my current needs with room to spare but not if a big chunk of capacity vanishes in days.

I know battery degradation is a thing but not after days (and I doubt it's that as the calibration 'finds' it again)

tomorrowman oh I agree, if it does do an internal check it needs to be a hell of a lot more frequent than it is now.

It looks like my AIO is also not keeping track properly of stored power. Yesterday 8kWh of solar took it from 6% to 100%, which cannot be right.
