Hi,
I've been trying for a few weeks to switch back to Go. I was on it previously for a few days before my export MPAN was sorted.
Having some difficulty and the best explanation so far is that because I'm on Flux Export, that prevents the switch to Go for import. I've asked to move to standard export as well but seems to be a "computer says no" issue.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and, if so, how it was resolved.
Thanks
Michael

I changed back just before the weather got nice ( so I'm taking the credit for that ) without any issues. Took a few days for both to swap but it was easy. Have you tried ringing them ?

It's an Octopus problem - dear old Kraken is the cause. Call them - they can select the tariff directly.

Yep, had same problems. Had to ring the three or four times to get it sorted. Took a couple of weeks. I think it was on the third call that I got a guy who said he'd seen the issue before. Where, they couldn't switch to go due to the flux export. He switched the export to basic export (the 4.1p) one. Then he told me I needed to reapply for GO. It switched to Go then fairly quickly. I then had to call them back to find out how to switch the export rate to the better one that you now get with GO (8p export I think) as it was then stuck on the lower rate.
All was sorted eventually.
Sub note. Had to provide my MPAN and certificate again to switch to the better GO export which was odd, as they already had all of that for me to previously be on GO and also Flux.

Ulven I asked on Twitter. Sorted in a couple of hours. Really does seem to depend who you get

The customer service from octopus, whilst better than most, does not live up to their hype. Simple things like tarrifs and billing often eludes them. They are more intrested in ASHP et al right now. But their core business is not what it was.

Thanks for the replies. I have phoned a couple of times but it's been a "leave it with us" response.
Though now I've received an email to join Intelligent Octopus Flux. Is anyone on this?
I'm instinctively against handing over control to Octopus...I don't know why as I'm sure I'm not efficient at usage...but still.
