Cannot detect Inverters

Hi, it is a new installation of an All -in-One so I may be jumping the gun a bit. When the installation was first commissioned I could see the stats etc on the web interface.

Now I cannot see anything and the "My Inverters" section on the web interface shows one inverter as "Lost" and the other as "Waiting".
Both the Android app (3.3.6.5125) nd the IOS app (3.3.6.4) show the system as "Offline"

My router shows 2 IP addresses which appear to be for the AIO.

I have tried manually entering what I believe to be the IP address via the web interface - no connection.

Short of physically switching the inverters off/on (which I'm reluctant to do) does anyone have any suggestions?

TIA
Tony

One IP address will be for the gateway, other will be for the all in one.

Are you connected to your network via wifi or LAN?

Lost comms is unfortunately a common issue, since I started writing them down I had to restart it on
October 10th
October 16th
October 27th
November 2nd

To make things easier for me I changed the name from the default AF thingy to this

and for the Gateway I had that as its host name.

I've been battling with trying to get my Android app to connect to the local inverter for weeks. (It's a GEN 3 version so no external dongle). It worked fine immediately after the system was installed but gradually took more and more attempts before connecting. Eventually it would not connect at all. Through most of this time my wife's phone connected reliably.
I contacted GivEnergy support who said that only one phone could connect at a time. I kept pointing out that my phone failed even when my wife's phone was off or out of the house. All I got back was a repetition of the "only one phone" story. I might have thought I was emailing a chat-bot except that the grammar was so dreadful.
Anyway, hints on this forum caused me to look at the settings in my WiFi/broadband router. In the 2.4 GHz channel there seemed to be no connected devices that might plausibly have been an inverter. I rebooted the router and a new device appeared called HF-A21. This turned out to be the inverter. An IP address was assigned to this device. I copied this into the IP address field in the app (Menu->Settings->Local Monitoring) and the problem now seems to be solved.
(I'm not sure that the IP address step was essential. My wife's phone still connects to the inverter without this step.)
I say the problem "seems to be solved" because the whole area seems to be flaky and poorly documented so I will not be surprised if the problem returns!

gjkathome you can certainly have multiple phones/tablets logged in to the givenergy app. We have 4. 3 iOS and 1 Android. No issues

Yes the inverter appears as HF-21 on your router. Probably worth changing your router to allocate a fixed IP address for the inverter rather than dynamic and then you should never need to change it in the app again. Setting the IP addresses in the app does cure many "can't find the inverter in local mode" issues
