I’ve had 2 nights now where the charge rate has dropped to under 300w and battery hasn’t charged up as programmed.
I’ve tried charging the charge settings but no change.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Ultra low charging rate <300w

JK you need to tell us what you have in terms of inverter and battery before we can help
JK hybrid 3.6 gen3. 10kw battery
JK 9.5kw battery

Set the charge rate to 85 at first, but when i saw it hadn’t charged, set to 100% with no change. (Timings were all correct).
Correction - Hybrid 5.0 inverter .
Yesterday the system wasn’t even discharging to the house as usual - seemed limited to a few hundred watts being delivered.
It really worries me that the system seems to rely so heavily on, what seems to be, quite unsteady code. There is also not enough information available to the user to explain why the system is behaving unusually.
I managed to do a firmware update after a second attempt which required a full discharge and recharge (ended up being in the middle of the day during peak hours, as I just needed the system to work).
Fingers crossed this is a rare occurrence.
JK Did you ever find out what was causing this, or find a resolution to it? I've been experiencing the same with my new system: https://community.givenergy.cloud/d/3892-low-charging-rate/
Nope - it just resolved itself. This morning, I’m back with the same problem, and no settings have been changed.
Anyone have any more information about this? I’m so frustrated to be back here again!
JK does the battery regularly get down to below 10%-ish, or tend to stay well-charged most of the time? Letting it run low seems to give it an opportunity to reset SoC tracking.
Low charging rate can indicate that the voltage is close to the limit, but tracked SoC still indicates there's still space.
