Well, despite my optimism about comm issues going away for the best part of a month, back again, did a firmware update and a few days later dead as a doorknob (or dodo take your pick). Have tried resetting numerous times, completely ineffective. I did contact customer service weeks (possibly months ago) with a promise of someone coming out.....nothing.....we'll see if it decides to come back at some point....
Direct wired, went for a restart about 6 or 7 times over the last 2 days, waiting 20 or 30 minutes apart, and nothing, now running about 48hrs without any control of the system
DCostura ah, that’s super frustrating. After a failed commissioning of the AIO and GW, GE sent out an engineer to switch out the batteries on my AIO.
It then took a lot of patience from my installer with GE helpdesk to go through quite a laborious sequence to get the AIO to rejoin the LAN as the AIO and the GW had to be power cycled.
If I remember correctly it was something like this

I had my first comms disconnection last week - could not find any reason why. Both my AIO and gateway are connected by ethernet cables. Took three attempts of restarting the AIO to re-establish connection.
On the third attempt I switched off the AIO by the blue button on the side, then switched off the DC breaker on the side of the AIO and then the AC breaker to the AIO in the gateway. Then switched the AC breaker back on, followed by the DC breaker then restarted the AIO - after starting the comms established again.
I don't know if there is any reason for this method to work - but it did whereas the first two 'switch off/on' attempts didn't - I imagined I was perhaps totally powering down the inverter and comms cards etc.
Currently 4 days offline, have tried everything and contacted installer. I'll keep trying just in case something works but yeah, very frustrating....
DCostura I found that when I lost comms on LAN I shutdown the AIO with the long press on button, waited for the clicking to finish then disconnected the LAN cables (somebody else recommended this) from the switch I have near the system, left it like that for 5 mins then reconnected the cables and restarted the AIO and a few mins later it was back online.
The other thing is have you set your router to fix the IPs for the AIO/Gateway? You may have to re-scan for the inverter in the App if not.
My installer had an issue as well when setting up, when he talked to GE they said he had to set it up via WiFi, do all the software updates, reboot everything.
Then follow this sequence:
Check your switch/router for IP addresses. (I assigned fixed IP’s once set up)
Check the Cloud Portal that both AIO and Gateway have connected (I check last online in general once a day, never had an issue)

DCostura Strange, flipping the breaker in the gateway for the AIO til the red light goes out then flipping it back on and waiting a few minutes for everything to kick in normally sorts it for me til it goes again, not even any point asking them to load a different dongle config as they won't be able to connect to it.
Oddly enough, I went to work in the morning and soon after I left, with no intervention, it just decided it wanted to talk to the world again....very bizarre
and then it died again last night.....
turned itself back on at noon today....completely RNG
