Anyone know how to get a 'slot 2' for charging your battery from the grid if it is not at a certain %? I have 'slot 1' so assuming you could get a slot 2, and also googled it and it said it was possible but not how!

Depends on the hardware/firmware revision. There's no friendly interface it on app/portal, but if you go to the 'remote control' section on the portal, you may get access to additional slots.
I have a Gen1 Hy5.0. Only 1 slot available.
I used Octo R&D scheduler and then moved to Home Assistant

SteveCook Yes but that was a year ago, how long is the pipeline that this feature is in? All GE have done so far is to add a 'Slot 1' label to tantalise us.

I'm using Wonder Watt on my Agile tariff and it works wonderfully well. Multiple charge slots and it automatically selected the cheapest overnight ones. Easy to add more slots on an ad hoc basis. Outstanding work by the developers.

Wonder Watt Great to hear that you now support agile. Sounds like you've got a good service that people find easy to use.
Do you support multiple inverters yet because TBH this was one of the key reasons why I didn't even try you last year and went down the Home Assistant, manual scripting and then predbat route.

geoffreycoan Thanks, we currently still don't support multi-inverter setups. It's something we may well be looking at in the future though.
Gotta say, GivEnergy's API is head and shoulders above the competition. Just wish some of these Inverter Timeout responses would be addressed.
