Our GivEnergy 9.5 battery and v3 5kW inverter were installed on 18 September and since then we've had the house mains circuit breaker trip 3 times. Has anyone else had this experience?
Circuit breaker tripping more often since solar installation
Yes, we've had the downstairs ring circuit trip twice since the AIO was installed 2 weeks ago.
Is this a thing the installer should address or does it point to a weakness in the house wiring that was already there. We had our distribution board replaced on 3-4 years ago so is up to spec.
Take a look at my experience. Now fixed

With our installation the only connection to the house wiring from the inverter is to the meter tails, before our existing consumer unit, so the installer didn't have to touch any of our existing installation, which is not the best and should probably be replaced sometime. With that sort of connection I don't think any earth leakage in the panels could trip a breaker in our consumer unit because it wouldn't see any leakage current from the panels.
Are some installations connected to the output side of the consumer unit?
