My GIVenergy software is not behaving as expected, the battery discharge schedule seems to be ignored?
Hi Adrian and welcome
You’ll need to turn Eco mode off if you want to follow a discharge schedule otherwise it’ll decide when to discharge itself
deanjesper Hmm... that's not my experience of how things work, though different inverters (and different firmwares) seem to behave differently. For me, the eco flag controls only the behaviour outside of the scheduled discharge period, and has no bearing on what happens within the timed window.

AdrianBatty It would be helpful to know what you've tried, what you expected, and what actually happened. And what version of the firmware your system is running, though we can help you find that if you don't know where to look.

Hi DD and deanjesper, thanks for the responses.
Eco mode is off in the mobile app, I can't see it on the PC, I do notice that the PC thinks that 'Last Online:' is set to July last year yet I have been on line a lot since then. Again on the PC it reports no data for Power and Energy graphs
AdrianBatty Not sure what that last-online time is - mine is showing as 2024-02-01 08:42:12 whereas it's 09:47 as I write, and the portal shows data up to 09:43 which seems plausible.
It's not a good sign that PC shows no power / energy graphs. Might mean that the inverter is not actually connecting to the portal to upload data. And since all configuration is done via the portal, that would in turn explain why things aren't working. Do other config changes work?
If you use Android, there's a free third-party app 'inverter monitor' whch connects directly to the inverter rather than using the cloud. That's a good way to see the true live settings on the inverter.
