Hi there,
Just had a new battery (9.5kW) installed yesterday.
It discharged rapidly last night and fully charged on Solar today and quickly discharged again around 4pm when the sun went down.
When I click the battery in the app and then discharge, the stats it says it discharged 2.46kW and it is now at 6%
I must be missing something, can anyone shed some light on this?

First thing to check is, make sure your set to ECO mode
To do this go the panel, my inverter / settings / see eco mode
Also note, the battery only updates every 5 mins, so there is a delay
lifco I don't think the question was why it charged, it was why it was down to only 6% after giving out only 2.6kWh.
There was another thread today (?) reporting a similar problem. Probably one for your installer, or maybe GE support

It could be a bad battery cell. There's a free 3rd party android app available - that can show all the individual cell voltages. They should all be similar - if one is very different under load, that could indicate a problem. (I think difference are less pronounced when it's idle - it may even have done some rebalancing after it went idle at 6%.)
has calibration taken place correctly?.
Check your notifications in the portal top left
