did you get calibration messages appear on your phone and/or the portal to show it has charged fully and discharged fully?

Our property is electric only, so wondering if that’s the reason why

Midlands_Solar And I think you also have an EV, from the other thread. So that could certainly explain the extremely high usage.
One thing that caught my eye was that it was showing some battery-to-home power (blue bars) between 8am and 9am, yet you said the battery was charging around then.

Not usually worth sending power from battery to immersion, because of round-trip losses. And would you need special kit to do that - wouldn't the battery provide power when you turn it on, unless you take steps to avoid it? I thought iBoost was usually intended to divert solar to immersion.
If you are on cheap overnight power for EV, probably better to run immersion from grid at the same time. Unless you're on one of those EV tariffs that covers only the car usage, rather than whole-house usage ?

Yes, on that view, blue is battery-to-home.
But anyway, as has been said, those energy numbers are very large - only you can say whether they look normal. Are they consistent with your smartemeter readings, for example ?
(My daily consumption is more like 10kWh, excluding EV. Will have to see how that changes after heat pump arrives.)

Oh... on that... if your EV tariff does only pay for power used by the car, you might want to somehow arrange that house battery doesn't discharge into the car. For those of us where the whole house is cheap-rate, we charge the house battery at the same time as the car, which avoids the issue. But if only the car is discounted, you don't especially want to charge the house battery at the same time.
(Do you have the GE chargepoint, or something else ?)

DD unfortunately they are correct, our house is a detached 4 bed and has electricity as a supply only

DD I don’t have an EV car, my tariff is the EON “flex” moving to their drive tariff in the coming days

Are you tied into EON as an energy supplier, or is this through a different division of EON ?
I hope to get a heat pump soon. Not necessarily expecting a cost saving (gas is on Octopus Tracker tariff which makes it pretty cheap at the moment), but I'll happy if it's cost-neutral since boiler is about due for replacement anyway, and the radiators are old and horrible. And getting rid of gas will save on the standing charge (which seems to be on an ever-increasing trajectory at the moment).

Just had a look at EON's site: Next Drive Fixed v2 is a fixed tariff, and "To be eligible you must own or lease an Electric Vehicle"

DD yes the guy at EON explained that I should ignore this statement, as with a solar system I would qualify for this tariff
On hold to EON customer service now
I was told I had to move my energy supply to EON for 12 months as parts of the installation

DD so just wrapped up with EON customer services, and the “Flex” tariff I’ve been put on is a “flat rate day and night” rate, hence the high costs at night
They are moving me to the “Drive” tariff which I’ve been told will take a couple of weeks
Midlands_Solar Okay.... Not entirely sure why having solar should qualify you for an EV tariff, but that's not so important. What's more important is whether it's a good tariff for your usage. I suppose battery, rather than solar, means the cheap overnight rate allows you to charge up the battery to power you through the day. But with your usage, the battery doesn't come close to covering all that.
You've said you're all-electric - I assume that means heat-pump, rather than storage heaters or a heat battery or similar. With the latter, you draw the power overnight, but with a heat-pump, you really want to be running it all day. The battery will only get you so far.
As we move into summer, that won't matter so much. But if it's a 12-month fix, you'll still be on it next winter. The premium on the daytime units might be a bit of a problem ? Perhaps somewith with a heat-pump can comment on whether 9.5kWh battery is likely to be sufficient.
(First post said you got 12.65kWh out of your 9.5kWh battery ?)

It’s unlikely that a 9.5kWh battery alone will be enough to run the house + heat pump through the whole day-time period.
Admittedly I have a large house and what seems to be an over-sized heat pump, but our heat pump load varies between about 15kWh and 30-40 in the winter, and up to 60+ on a really cold day. The first winter we had the heat pump we were on a fixed tariff so it wasn’t so bad, this year we’ve been on Agile and the battery has covered me for the peak periods, grid importing during the rest of the time.
