Battery Discharge Rate is Low

Our system was commissioned last Tuesday (27/2/24) and we're doing a lot of head scratching. At the moment I'm looking at the portal (app is the same) and it's showing a discharge rate of 105W. Our consumption is 495W and the battery is at 91% (9.5kWh) so I'd expect the discharge to cover all of the consumption but we're importing 390W from the grid. The only setting that I can see is Eco Mode - ON. Our inverter is a GIV-HY3.6 and the battery is 186 Ah/9.52 kWh/1 Pack - don't know the number. Any ideas?

Monty One parameter that would affect that is the max discharge power.

One other thing to consider is that the portal might be showing a value that differs from the actual value on the inverter itself - the portal doesn't typically read from the inverter, but relies on its copy of what it thinks is there. So you can do things like explicitly toggling eco mode off, then set it back on again. That should ensure that inverter and portal agree on the value. Similarly the discharge power - set to some random value, then back up to max.

If you've been experimenting with settings, 'reset to defaults' is another thing to try. But again, it looks like maybe the inverter only sends values it thinks need changing, rather than unconditionally setting all values.

Oh, another possibility perhaps is if you've used the pause quick-setting. That actually works by reducing charge and dischage power to 0, but, for reasons, that actually results in effective values of at least 100W, though usually more.
