Hi all,

Gen 2 inverter has been working fine for 18 months, just last two days started getting: Electricity Meter Com Fail
and nothing's working properly.

Tried restart, tried firmware upgrade, but error seems to be persisting.

Any ideas on what I can try to resolve this? I've made no changes at all that might affect the hardware.

It sounds like the EM115 device located in (or one of) your Consumer unit/fusebox has failed. It glows green in a small LCD/LED window and shows various numbers. It is used via a CT clamp on the incoming Live wire from the electricity meter to detect/measure bi-directional energy flow.

Yeah, thought that - but all looks fine - solar seems to be fine, batteries 'say' fully charged and EM115 showing values in LCD window (green glow etc) - so not certain where to look for cause....

has the connector pulled out/fallen out of the bottom of the inverter. They don't lock in like RJ45.
You may have to take the black plastic shroud off and look up

alphabeta77 So, the system is working OK apart from the inverter is not recognising the presence of the grid. Is the MCB for the inverter in the CU OK?
