Does anyone know at what power level the inverter starts to send surplus solar to the battery?

For the last 10 minutes or so (using the app so getting 10s refresh) our solar has been generating around 100W more than our demand. This surplus has been exported to the grid when as we are on a dull day and therefore battery is at 31% I would prefer for that surplus to be adding to my battery.

We are on our minimum demand at the moment of around 180W, and are generating around 250-300W, so if we could store the surplus instead of export, we would add half an hour battery use for every hour of surplus that is currently going to the grid and will then probably have to be bought back later at a much higher cost.

Hopefully someone from GivEnergy reads this and can reply.

Martyn its about 120W on mine before it starts to charge, although once its going i think from memory it can charge at lower than 120.

I have noticed similar to Hoggy. I wonder if the “start charging” level is configurable?
