Hi have had a system running for just under a year now, during the winter months I used scheduled charging during the night which worked well. Just recently I have been looking at controlling my system with home assistant. But now my battery won't discharge beyond 69%. I have reset the inverter system to defaults removed scheduled charging over night , re calibrated the battery by forcing it via the portal but it still won;t discharge beyond 69% in normal operation. Any help would be useful.

Kind regards

Could try switching the battery off, then on again. Also make sure that eco mode in the portal is on. Even if it is, switch it off, save, wait 30 seconds then switch it on again and save. Give it a couple of minutes to settle and see what happens. Also check the battery reserve levels. Even if its at 4% change it slightly then save. Wait 30 seconds and change it back then save again.

andernei Is it possible that the battery reserve has been set to 69% ? An issue with using home assistant is that it writes to the registers directly, bypassing the portal. But the portal reports the value it last sent, rather than actually reading from the inverter.

One option is to go to the remote control part of the portal and press the button to force it to re-read the value from the inverter. Simpler option is to set it to some random value, then back to the value you really want (and which might already be showing).

Reset-to-defaults is an option, but I get the impression that it doesn't unconditionally set all registers, and may only reset values it believes have changed (and so doesn't reset the things that Home Assistant has changed).

Good luck.

Thank you DD, by using the remote control function I set it to 6% and then restarted the inverter and off it went and discharging. Now I just have to work out where in home assistant it is getting the 69% value.

Tim thank you for your suggestion I did try it before DD's but it didn't work.
