Reserve power discharging at 9pm (no setting to adjust)

Hi all.

New user here.

I have reserve power set to 10% on Eco (Hybrid Inverter) via the web/cloud interface. At 9pm, the battery starts discharging down to the 4% cut-off point.

I can't see a time value anywhere. Is there any way to have the 10% apply 24/7? It'd be good to be able to ride-out power cuts.

Thanks!

Are you using the app or the desktop portal?
If you goto your desktop dashboard, click on my inverter, then click on settings, all your options for times and power settings etc are on that, make sure you save your setting before leaving the page, then await the confirmation change message, then if I was you, click onto another section, say software, then check back at your setting just to make sure they have taken and been set

Thanks for the response. Desktop dashboard. All the times are set at 00:00, as per defaults. I've also re-asserted the 00:00 values, just to make sure.

Seems like a possible bug to me...?

christurner Sometimes i've got to save the settings, leave page, then come back to it and double check, and sometimes i've got to stay on the same page and save it twice just to make sure. Yeah things are a bit buggy and clunky, but once set they are normally ok after that

I might have solved. it. I went into inverter->settings->Timed Discharge, enabled it, saved - then disabled and saved.

Will just have to see if it does strange things again at 9pm tonight.

Sadly, at 8pm tonight, even thought the battery has 80% charge from today, it stopped discharging at 8pm and the house was using 100% from the grid.

Noticed that my setting parameters in the desktop interface had resulted in my phone-app settings being set to option 3. So, set back to 1 on that GUI. Fingers crossed, it'll work out better.

I definitely looks like there's a few bugs in there (I'm a software engineer by day, who's done a fair bit of industrial control systems work btw).

Here is my setup, hopefully it will help:

Eco - Enabled
Timed Charge - Enabled, 0:00-9:00, x% (to top up the battery with a cheap, nightly tariff)
Timed Discharge - Disabled
Timed Export - Disabled
Battery Options - Reserve 10%, Charge Power 2600W (100% = full), Discharge Power 2600W (100% = full).

With the above the reserve stays the way I want, and discharged the battery to the home as needed (to 10%).

I have noticed that it is very confusing for the inverter if you make some changes in the app, some via the website. I only use the website now and I always make sure the Eco is Enabled.

Best not to make changes via the app at the moment. It's due a big refresh following the go live of the new portal. Might be some settings aren't quite working from the app.
