Apps not showing any significant solar generation

At some point yesterday morning my generation has gone to almost nothing. It is cloudy now, but I would expect a lot more than the 6W the app (mobile and web) shows. The battery appears to be fully charged and we do not seem to be importing anything. On the Octopus site it shows that generation stopped at the same time, but we did not import anything yesterday.

At times the house is shown consuming more than the panels and battery feed in, but grid shows nothing.

I checked the lights on the inverter itself and it seems okay. There are a couple of notifications in the app for battery voltage low and BMS under voltage.

The system was only installed in February. I will log a support call unless there is someone can suggest a fix.

What kind of system do you have? If it's an AIO, or another system wired for EPS, is it possible you've lost your grid connection and are running off-grid ? If your battery is full and there's no grid connection, it would have to stop generating solar. (Though does seem unlikely house load would be as low as 6W.)

What do you see if you put the kettle on, for example ?

This was with the kettle on.

I think the grid must be okay as the EV got charged this morning. As far as I know we do not have EPS functionality.

Something is obviously not right. I will get onto GivEnergy to see what they think, but I thought I would see if this was a know issue. Thanks

I'd check whether the CT clamp has come loose. That's the way the inverter senses grid activity.

Though I don't understand how the inverter would know that 3.3kW was being consumed - AFAIK it doesn't measure that directly, but infers it from other sources. Maybe I'm wrong about that.

See https://community.givenergy.cloud/d/4631-system-misbehaving-after-electrical-work-carried-out for details about the CT.

The issue seems to have been that a break tripped. I will report that back to the installer to see if there's anything that needs looking at. I flipped it back and it is working again for now.
